When did you become a military spouse?
It was our senior year at North Carolina A&T State University, when we said, "I do," and we did over our Thanksgiving break.

For over 25 active duty years, We have traveled the world as an Air Force family. We were blessed to live on the Eas

For over 25 active duty years, We have traveled the world as an Air Force family. We were blessed to live on the East Coast, on the West Coast, in the Midwest, and overseas in Europe for three of those 25 years (specifically in the UK).
What are the biggest lessons you have learned about marriage?
Forgiveness is golden. "Perfect love casts out fear." "Love covers a multitude of sins."
Next to my life in Christ, being the wife of Mr. Angelo T. Haygood for over 39 years has been one of my greatest blessings and growth experiences.
We are both thankful for this journey and for those who helped us along the way.

What made you decide to write this book?
My husband and I love to share our thoughts. We love to write and we love to talk.
As a young elementary school student, I wrote short stories and poems. Later as an adult, I wrote featured articles for companies and local business magazines as a thought leader, corporate executive, and CEO.

After 39 years of marriage, God put it on our hearts as a couple to share our story together. Trilogy Christian Publishing found us and offered us a publishing contract for our book, "How to Build a Successful Marriage."

Yes for us as a couple. However, my first self-published book was about my daddy from my fond memories as a child. "My Daddy is Bigger: From the Eyes of a Child." It was self-published through Amazon.
